Obama said he regretted his mistake in not anticipating the problems in the aftermath of his Libyan intervention.

Is there ANY excuse for not knowing what would happen? This while we are STILL dealing with the aftermath of virtually identical blunders in Iraq, Afganistan, etc..? WTF...

Air strikes right or wrong at this point in time? - who the **** knows.

@Leadfoot,
The truly screwed up thing is that we know what and who feeds the problem of terrorism.

It's all about money. War, even ISIS style war, is very expensive. We know where the money comes from. Targeting the fighters is a waste of bombs and rockets. You can always buy replacement fighters for a fraction of the cost of a single HellFire missile.

Our 'leaders' know this but they are too timid to say so.

This.

The beheading of the little boy was done by "moderates" we support.

@Leadfoot,
Thanks. I don't understand how so many people can be silent about this. It IS confusing with so many players, but we can clearly see we're part of the problem.
