Notice that in the lyrics the Jews hate no one. They just want to be allowed to live in peace, perhaps avoiding many others. That's not hate, in my opinion, that's knowing how to live in a world that got much smaller (or larger?) since the times of the biblical days.
@Foofie,
Really Foofie? You haven't read the Bible Foofie have you. The Jews wiped out the inhabitants of Jericho, man woman and child.
(And let's not mention the ethnic cleansing that happened in the 1950s).

If that's the measure of Catholicism, I certainly fall short.
You're a Latin scholar, George.
@Foofie,
If the"Church" built civilization, did those priests, who went around and around raping little altar boys, know that they were supposed to be contributing to civilization?

You are comparing Jews of the biblical times to today? LOL. I know of no ethnic cleansing in the 1950's? Was this during the '57 war when France, Britain and the U.S. interceded?
@AugustineBrother,
woowww that´s some historic facts manipulation...
Oh Christ but how this is a typical religion thread.
There is no question but that the Christian Church (and at a time when it was "Catholic") preserved the fundamentals of civilization after the fall of the Roman Empire.
Did they do it perfectly? Of course not.
BTW the Muslims, also during this period did a fine job of preserving and advancing civilization, but, alas, they were then a different breed of Muslims than we enjoy today.
Whether one believes in God or not, at that time it was theology that attracted intellectuals. Later those intellectuals rebelled, and rightly so, against the Church, but this notion that religion has only attracted, and continues to only attract moronic people of violence is so idiotic it wouldn't bear comment except that so many people in this forum actually believe it.

Did you notice that we' re not supposed to mention it?
