Should news media report anyone on Earth as trees and planets?

@Thomas33,
The news media should report trees and plants as trees and plants.

Although some persons are dumber than tree stumps, they should still be
reported as persons by the news media.

None of the above applies to cartoons.

As far as we can tell, Earth is the only planet to have trees.

It is not supposed to make sense in the way we commonly understand
"making sense". It is intended to take sense, to shake sense, to bake
sense, to ring the alarm and wake sense until it brings our
consciousness to a state where we can fake sense.

Oh, I'm fully aware of the various discoveries of planets and their suspected quantities.

My statement was prefaced with "As far as we can tell..."; at this point no other life (much less what we'd call a 'tree') has been discovered.

I believe there is other life out there though (not sure about trees).

However I'm sure you'll find trees

@maporsche,
It is estimated there are 5x10 to the 22 power, habitable planets in our universe. I cant believe there arnt other intelligent races. But we will probably never know for sure.

Update, thats 50 sextillion.

@maporsche,
Would it be right for a news network to report anyone on the planet as a planet? The person could literally be anyone.
