main concept here is - no byist ,no favoriteism

Rating System 1-10 for each of the 6 categories
Punchlines- Jokes , jabs and anything that is offensive (1-10)
Multi's- effective use of multi-syllables , ie. You need “air-ta-breathe” ,seeing clear crystal ball “therapy” or think-about-it-ink-a-scalp-quick (1-10)
Metaphors-heart of a lion , hands of steel (1-10)
Structure/flow- using lots of multi-syllables, using consistent amount of syllables per line , using alliteration . (1-10)
Wordplay- name flips , word flips , double meanings , word bending ie . were 2 rappers of different pedigree decapitate ya soul so u’ll never get ahead of me (1-10)
Personal’s-punchlines that are specific to that person or flipping what they have said in previous battles name flips are catagorized in wordplay and personals. (1-10)
3 judges -2 main judges and a wildcard judge for each battle
16 bar rounds
24 hrs to write and post
There will be a wildcard slot , if you don’t make it past the 1st battle you still have an oppurtunity to comeback in .
Final battle rules – 32 bars and 48hrs to write an post

Naw. I don't think those two categories are strongest...just two areas I think that I might judge a bit dif from the definitions ya laid out. Thats all im sayin'.

I feel ya kop..as. emcees we all feel certain categories are to be executed strongly..we will just feel it out since this is our first tourney...me and prof will moderate and we will work out any kinks..so we have a solid foundation and system for future tourneys...just glad for your participation..thanx
