Catch-22 Also a great read where a man is a crew member of an bomber and has to relive the death of his friend in order to learn the value of human life.
1984 is another classic book that talks about a future where the government controls everyone. Makes you think about the way things are going.
To Kill a Mockingbird- Another great book that talks about slavery and the justice system.

I'm not a big reader at all really. The illiad was good but was a bitch to read. It has a good theme behind it and is written well. I've read the alchemist which is an extremely spiritual/religious book which was good.

I'm not really interested in the universe or space as a whole at the moment so Stephen Hawking does not particularly interest me. I prefer books by authors not scientists. I've never been a comic guy.
