More recent data have shown that 90% of New Yorkers consume less than 400 grams/day of fruits and vegetables, against 70% in the study sample.
The sentence above is trying to say that 70% of the study sample consume less than 400 grams/day of fruits and vegetables. Is the sentence written correctly/clear? Thanks very much.
@Doubtful,
No Doubt it's saying there were two studies giving different results
Forgive pun
@dalehileman,
Sorry, I did not express myself well. Yes, it is two studies. I was wondering if that was clear and if the sentence was constructed properly. Same for the other question. Thanks.
@Doubtful,
Quite welcome, now I understand. The sentence is okay
@Doubtful,
OTHER COLLEGE GRADUATES ARE "DIPLOMA DUMBOS"
Thank you for using "data" as a plural. I don't respect the opinions of anyone who thinks it is a singular.
@Sage of Main Street,
So presumably you don't respect anyone who thinks 'agenda' is singular ?
