Should I get a second guinea pig?

The champagne vinegar just tastes way different. Make sure you get get that brand though, and for God's sake don't get the stupid low fat version....as if you would.

CRD?

When you get a second one- get one of the same gender as the first one. Otherwise you will end up with more guinea pigs than you wished for.
I had one and got another. The first one must have gotten jealous or something and did everything to stop the second one to get food. I really had to watch.

Im sorry, it should be CWD not CRD. (Or TSE among cervids).
You have to worry about this disease since the center of infection is out your way,in the wild populations of deer and elk.

We have an outbreak now and then, but mostly in areas where there isn't much hunting. In my area the hunters keep the population down so that CWD isn't too much of a problem.

If you believe in 'common descent' why are you hunting your own. Isn't that called murder?
