@panzade,
Send it to Texas. They can always use water.

@panzade,
So how are you? Any damage?

@Blickers,
No. This was one of those faux storms with much journalistic fanfare and not much damage.
My thoughts are with the families of nine soldiers killed in an un-named storm
in Texas.

Hopefully the Carolinas will be spared.

California needs it the most.

Anxiously tracking TS Hermine forming in the Caribbean. We'll know more by Sunday but after the Lousiana flooding it could be dangerous for the Gulf Coast.

@panzade,
I'd say get to high ground, but the last time I was in Florida I didn't see any.
What do you do to prepare?

@George,
The first thing is to unearth the hurricane shutters buried somewhere in the garage...but now it seems headed to Edgar's house.

@panzade,
Have you got the windows boarded up (or are you prepared to do so?)?

Just saw the forecast for the Outer Banks and uhhhhhhhh a big swatch of Hermine looks to be heading Florida-ish.

@ehBeth,
The outer bands are dropping some rain today but S Florida dodged the bullet.
The Panhadle won't be so lucky.
Glad you're looking out for me eh.

@realjohnboy,
Yeah. I know folks in Puerto Rico and in Grenada and am wondering if they'll be evacuating for this one.

I'm counting on that huge high pressure zone to ease back a bit and let Matthew escape northwards past Florida and Georgia.
Fingers crossed.
