I think the writers must have been sniffing the correction fluid again that day...

Who doesn't have a thing for Patrick Stewart? <swoon>

I was allergic to Voyager. I hate how they messed with Worf's character. He wasn't WORF.

Still on the Star Trek theme, which is your favourite 'version'? I've got to go for Voyager I think. TNG was getting there, but they had a long way to come from TOS so I'll let them off. I was put off DS9 by a lack of explosions and space battles, but I've only seen about half of them and that was a while ago. Enterprise is quirky, and it's always good to see Scott Bakula (sp?) finding gainful employment after Quantum Leap, but it just didn't 'do it' for me.

I would have to say TNG for me. I don't like Enterprise at all, despite Bakula, who I loved in Quantam Leap, and that hot Vulcan. I dunno....I just can't get into it. Now, I like TOS because it spawned everything. Never violate the TOS!! Little joke there....I also find Shatner hilarious, and worship him not for Trek, but for The Twilight Zone, where he played the guy in the plane who saw the monster ripping at the wing. Classic.

I SO saw that coming.

Hairy men are more your type, then? No wonder you like Scott! :-D

(I loved Scott in Quantum Leap, too.)

Now KES I don't get. That was some baaad hair. And she was so passive and boring. <shrugs> A pale retread of Deanna Troi, who was the most annoying thing about TNG...

Kes and Deanna were quite different. Kes, at first, was quite passive, but then later discovered she had wicked mind powers, and nearly killed Tuvak during a mind power training session. Deanna just 'sensed' stuff. She was boring.

A classic exchange:

"They were just sucked into space" -- Riker
"Blown, sir" -- Data
"Sorry, Data" -- Riker
"Common mistake, sir" -- Data (The Naked Now)

What, in your opinion, is the single STUPIDEST trek episode of any series?

The original Trek had some lulus, but my vote would go to the Voyager episode where they find a pickup truck floating in the Delta Quadrant and eventually find Amelia Earhart.

Unlike when they found a car driven by NBC executives hurtling toward the Enterprise to tell them they were cancelled...

OK Quotes

"If winning doesn't matter--why keep score"(Worf:1100. . . )

"I do not see any of the other crew needing to consult with you in regards to procreation"(Data--"The Child"). Data BTW was my favorite TNG character.

I love Data. Did you know that Brent Spiner put out an album of jazz standards called "Ole Yellow Eyes?" It's quite the rarity.

Another from Voyager ("The Chute" Ep.3-3) from my favourite character, the Doctor:

EMH: That won't be necessary. Lieutenant Paris is just fine, thanks to excellent doctoring...

He's such a big-head! Fantastic.
