Wasn't the guy from Andorra "Stan Johnson" or something like that? He was pretty funny.

I was boomerang there and I'm boomerang here.

But that is the nature of a boomerang, is it not?

Andy (AndrewT) continued to click with the rainforest group, and occasionally appeared on the ongoing series of threads.

If we manage to get more of the group here <struggle>, I'm going to send him the link. Hopefully, he'll appear here once in a while.

The nature of a boomerang is to kill anything it's aimed at. Fun little factoid! Twisted Evil

Wow!!! What a blast from the past.

I was Gezzy over there, but you all know that. I started out as Gezzy here too, but I wanted a change.

fortune, someone once suggested to me that a boomerang was a toy and I had to remind them that a boomerang is a deadly weapon.

I am here what I was there. Just more experienced.

The guy from "Andorra" was "Stanley 'The Stan' Johnson". I wasn't him.

Skwerlx joined here and never posted. He thought it was too nicey nice here.

I just remembered something else...

When I first got on Abuzz (back in 2000 or so) I was usually checking in rather early in the morning (5-5:30 a.m. Central) and invariably bobsal would start a thread, Pragmaticone would post a rebuttal, the two would engage in a testy back-and-forth of six or eight posts, harrumph at each other and then repeat the process for another two to four threads.

Every single morning. For months.

And then there was the ese edgar and Slappy Show.

Whatever happened to the ese?

"Being from Andorra..."

I admit to tiring of the andorra thing. Maybe if it had been Padova.. Lack of flatitude on my part. I never minded personae as such - ok, I did, but not in comparison to the impersonating thing, which is not really funny, given the way people often express their real selves for the first time. I suppose it was funny for those who did it, but I think it was sometimes very destructive for the people who got hit with it.

And the thread takeovers that made me think, er, Osso, this is a waste of time. Which of course was the threadbusters point, but still, my mental life is where I live.

Still I'll always remember the highs of flights of words. Sort of kills me to see it zappo.

I kept some art threads and the few evolution threads because they contained good arguments for and against creation and Ive used some of the progression in classes.
I always thought that skwerl and ezy ed and slappy, were the same guy cause the insults were almost familial.
what the hell, they were funny.

Hi all... I dunno if I'll post here regularly, but right now I feel so miserable about the Abuzz shutdown that I need to... Crying or Very sad

Technically, I've always been hihp in every forum I posted to and on every website community I joined, but I guess on Abuzz people know me rather as neo or neohihp than as hihp... even though I added the neo only after the revelution.

Hello & welcome!
neohihp, yes I remember you! Don't try to remember me, though, I haven't Abuzzed for quite some time.
Now dry your tears & check out some of the threads here ... You might just find some you like! Very Happy

Welcome to A2K, hihp!

A lot of people have been saddened by the downfall of Abuzz, you'll find a lot of sympathy here.

Well, true, I added a bit more, but the rest changed regularly... usually the only constants in my screen name were "neohihp" and "princessash"...
