Hot and cold

I have been talking to an ex lately even made plans to see him one day.Went to his job and he sat in car.When were supposed to hook up he mafe excuse.It was odd because hes the one that initiated the meeting.
He knew since he been gone i been involved with a popular radio host.
So he says we will see each other next week that week wasnt good.
When I contacted him next week he says please dont text him.Im so congused.The guy ive been with is a radio host but hes a narcissist so ive been showing him our tect msgs about how he acts.I thought everything was fine but he treated me cold.
