Belief systems....religions....are at the root of most of the trouble on this planet.

You are one of the most dangerous of destructive personalities...mostly because you cannot see (or will not acknowledge) the damage to humankind that your silly beliefs cause.

If only we could get people past this "god is my boss" bullshyt. The world would become a much better place if we could.

Frank; You are quite right about the abominations perpetrated in the name of religion. I submit they are not God's fault.

The destruction of such religion is foretold in the bible in Revelation 17 and 18.

If you believe the bible, that is.

The Bible is a joke. Anyone who guesses it to be "the word of god"...as opposed to a relatively self-serving history of the early Hebrew people insterspersed with a comic book level mythology....is simply not putting much thought into it.

The sun shines for everyone on earth,even if a blind man dont see it and denyies it, he can nevertheless feel its rays.

The people of your kind dont bother God to exist even if you deny Him.

The more you will deny the more you will suffer,not because of some evil force who wishes you bad,but simply because you are denying the divine in you!

Dont harm yourself its for your own sake!

Say Fellows,
.....I believe Ive made a scary discovery. The link below, is to a topic I started. In it I propose a religion that has no ceremony, no preachers, no mandatory name for the supreme, and a lot other "no's", responsible for so many deaths throughout history. In fact the only commandment for this religion is "Thou shalt make every effort to be nice to and respect every one you encounter. I thought it would be the one perfect religion if you must have one.....WRONG Exclamation Shocked ....I posted this topic over thirty hours ago, and so far, not one person has any interest in my peaceful, non-agressive crap....Go figure... Sad

As I was saying. If there were a God and If the bible was his inspired word, then it would be well to contemplate the message of Revelation 17 and 18, IMHO.

It's obvious my bible thumping friends have not.

The "Bible thumpers" are seldom interested in anything the Bible has to say....unless it happens to further a particular point they are trying to make at a particular moment.

Anything inconvenient is simply discarded.
