Everything's fine in Seattle, except the Seahawks offense, and I'm too old to do anything about that. I'm sure glad to see you back. Have you any travels to report?

neo, It's a BIG mistake to ask me about my travels. Well, to make a long story short, here's what happened in September and plans for the future. My wife, younger son, and I went to DC for seven days; my third visit, but saw new things and visited new places. We even stayed at the Marriott at Georgetown University Conference Center. On the last day, my wife and I visited Alexandria. We had lunch at the Fish Market, a restaurant recommended by the lady at the visitors center, and it was terrif. I'm off to Israel on Friday for 15 days; then on November 22, a river cruise on the Danube from Nuremberg to Vienna with visits to Prague and Budapest. On December 30, I'm off to Miami to celebrate New Years, then hop on a ship for a 10-day cruise to the Caribbean. On March 25, 2007, I'll be on a transAtlantic cruise from Rio to Barcelona; from April 16-30, a land tour from the Adriatic to the Black Sea; then from May 14-28, a tour of Slovenia and Croatia. I'll be traveling independent from May 28-June 11, and hopefully join in a A2K gathering someplace in Europe.

Hello to you TL!

I "regret" that it isn't possible for me to grant you with "whatever" since I have never been smoking in all my lifetime! Romans 12:1-3!

I can recommend you to contact Neo because at the time I was looking for him and he shouted, "HERE" I found him at Moe's

The proof of circumstances tell us all everything together with the fact that Neo sounds like this:

Quote:
Cough! Cough!

It must therefore have been Neo, but I don't really believe it was, since he will be kicked out of his religion if he dares to smoke.

I can only think, that it must have been his friend Setanta, you know the Native American, who has been smoking "what so ever" something strong and as common knowledge, that the smoke has an impact at people breathings, when people are in the same room!

NB. Maybe it was a Peace Pipe before Setanta shoot himself in his foot at the shooting field with Moe and his M14. Indians are known for their smoking!

Hi Neo!

Would you mind if I kindly ask you to recommend me, since I'm not familiarly with or personally known by Letterman!

You know I don't know and belong to the "Bald Guys"!

I can tell you a situation from the real life, that I in former times want to go to the US because I was of that opinion that mostly of the American living in North America today likes sweets, like e.g. "Bon bons".

In the research I was looking for an American name of the product since it was maked from whipped white from Eggs covered with chocolate, we call them "Negro Kisses" and as you properly can understand, I was aware of that such a name would properly not be accepted, at the US market, even that black people, has been accepted nowadays, like "Another cup of coffee", even that he's going to retire from his post and leaving it to an Asian person.

Since it was maked from whipped white, from Eggs and sugar, I was so unfamiliarly with the American langue, that I thought a good name would have been "Cream Balls".

It created a good laugh from my friend and there the idea was dead, like this conversation.

Let me suggest that we start to be serious again with this interesting and important Topic: "Which religion is the one true religion?" If there is one out there?

All religions contain truth. For myself, I vacillate between liberal Christianity and Zoroastrianism.

i suppose its whether you look at it from a liberal point of view or a fundamentalist. liberals would say that all religions follow the same God and no matter what religion you follow you'll end up in heaven. fundamentalists, however, would argue that only Christianity is the true religion as the bible does say that the only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ. i'm not choosing a side as i think they both make valid points and as a Christian i'm safe from assault by both. phew.

(all of the above taken in an overall Christian view)

In another thread you stated that the only unforgivable sin is to not accept Jesus as your Savior. You've already taken a side. You cannot possibly think that following Islam will get you to the same god. The two religions are incompatible.

abortion
I am 17 years old and i have been a mother for almost 3 months now. i have something to say about abortion.
To get an abortion you must be pregnant and to be pregnant you must have made the decision to have sex. i feel that sex is for reproduction and if you feel mature enough to have sex then you are mature enough to have children. if you are not ready to be a parent simply obtain from having sex. now yes i understand that there is rape and those women don't get to choose to be pregnant but, my mother is a rape victim and i am the product of that rape. she kept me because i was alive from the moment of conception. you have to remember that it is not the childs fault you are pregnant, and it may not be yours either. but don't punish an innocent life because of societys mistakes. i am pro life but i am also pro choice. make the decision to have sex and expect to reproduce. the choice is up to you. most abortions would be avoided if people would realise. SEX is for REPRODUCTION. if you don't want to be a parent then don't do it. i realised this a little too late and i am taking responsibility for my decision. and i couldn't be happier with motherhood.

AYM, Welcome to a2k. The problem with your scenario is that you only opine about getting pregnant. There's more to pregnancy than just having the baby. There are many other issues such as the ability of the mother to properly care for the baby, nutrition, health care, and education. How does a 17 year old woman take on this responsibility on her own? Over and above all that, not all girls are properly educated about sex and pregnancy. A new baby does not survive in isolation if it's to have all the necessary food, shelter, health care, and support for its well-being. Maturity is also a necessary ingredient lacking in most teenagers whether they understand having sex may produce a baby.

I can only wish you good luck and good health for you and your baby.

i can only thank you for your kindness, and i respect your opinion. however i do understand that it takes more than just having a baby which is exactly why you shouldn't have sex unless you are ready for what comes with it. if someone happens to get pregnant before they are ready there are plenty of options that i feel are better than abortion. and yes it does take a lot to raise a healthy child, with all the love and affection they need to grow and flourish, which brings me to my first point. don't have sex unless you are mature and ready to be a parent. i also feel that our youth does not understand the serious issues that come with sex. there are STDs, AIDs, pregnancy, rape, not to mention the emotional roller coaster you get on when you become sexually active. i only hope that our society will learn not to take sex and parenthood so lightly. also, a 17 year old women handles this with strength, pride, and my head held high. i didn't plan to be pregnant and when i found out, i will admit the first thing i thought of was abortion. but i took myself away from the clinic so i could think. the more i thought about it the more i realised how selfish i would be to get an abortion. it was not my daughters fault i was pregnant, it was mine. i made the decision to have sex before i was ready and i had to deal with my mistakes which is what others should do as well. i will also tell you that i used to have many problems. i was a rude and careless person, i was on medication to keep me calm, i was diagnosed as a bi-polar and i had ADD. through my pregnancy i made the choice to get off of my medication for the health of my baby. i got off the medicine that i "NEEDED" to function. i have been off all medication for about a year now and i have never felt better.
