Dear English teachers,
please teach me which is the correct word to use because dictionary.com only has the word"handprint", thanks.
I am going to do handprints/handprinting on a piece of paper.

It depends on whether you want the verb form or the noun form.

In the sentence you constructed, either of those alternatives is acceptable.

is the following sentence acceptable?Because my niece's teacher said it was incorrect.
I am going to handprint on a piece of paper.

@Loh Jane,
If the teacher says it's wrong..perhaps she can explain why. Perhaps it's because it's not in the dictionary, but her criteria is an academic one. as the language is spoken here...conversationally, I think it's acceptable..but not ideal.

I might say it this way: "I'm going to create a handprint on a piece of paper."

past tense - Handprinted
current tense - Handprinting

"I will be handprinting'.
"I am handprinting".
"I was handprinting"

Run

"I was running"
"I am running"
"I will be running"

To handprint
To run

A handprint (or an handprint) outdated (an) pre-"H"
A run

I handprint
I run

Likely - I am handprinting, today.
