Does "two nights ago" and "at night before yesterday" mean same?

Two nights ago, while I was going to bed, I suddenly remembered that I had to submit two assignments.

This sentence sounds me natural. If I write At night before yesterday instead of Two nights ago, does it make sense? If it becomes wrong, please say why.

@Azah,
I'd suggest "night before last" if you want the sentence to sound natural.

@Azah,
Azah that's really a good q, one I've long pondered. The former is ever-so-slightly ambiguous if uttered at night. However, "At night before yesterday" makes no sense at all

I might say "night before last," though I'm sure we could find some sort of problem with it

Edited to acknowledge Beth above

@Azah,
As a native speaker from the Northeast US.

Two nights ago...
The night before last...

Sound natural. (I would most likely say "two nights ago", but that's just me).

The night before yesterday

Sounds correct, but doesn't sound like something an American would say.

At night before yesterday

Seems incorrect (the "at" isn't correct).

@Azah,
I can figure out the thought, but it would be more clear to just say "Two nights ago."
