I am thinking about adopting my little sister, my question is im finishing up college this year, i dont have children of my own or even a wife. will this end up being more harmful to my sister as i do not know how to parent, nor do i have experience. what i do is have love and care for her. theres also another couple who has thought about it, only difference is she is alot more open to me but they have 2 children older than her and know how to handle things a lot more. i want to help not harm her.

@Bl08791,
I think that it's natural, you love your sister and want her to be safe, happy.

But, you are so young with a future ahead of you, how are you going to provide for her, as she matures, who will she turn to for "girl" advice. Speak to the other couple that seem to want to love her and bring her into their lives and express your desire to be there a lot for her, if they were to do so and ascertain if they have no problems with that at all.
