I sense that most of you have a serious drinking problem. Or do you just post that way?

I'm guessing that most of the posters are only virtually drunk.

I would agree with colorbook. We could reverse the same question and ask why so many ex-alchoholics tend to get voted into office under the GOP?

...I wonder if they really are ex-alcoholics. Maybe GWB keeps a flask underneath his bullet proof jacket...for medicinal purposes of course.

It's morning here, and I'm putting on a nice pot of real Kona. Any takers?

Kona is a fine coffee from Hawaii.

There is 'real' Kona, all Hawaiin Kona, and 'Kona blend', Kona mixed with other generic beans. It's cheaper, but not as good.

I mean, couldn't we test this here - of course slightly altered - as well?

Quote:
New Technology Predicts Fast-Food Orders

PITTSBURGH -- Some fast food restaurants will soon test the theory that what you drive shows what you eat.

A Pittsburgh company has installed technology at fast-food restaurants to predict orders before customers even walk in the door.

The system -- known as "Hyperactive Bob" -- uses rooftop cameras that monitor traffic entering the parking lot and drive-through. It currently tells restaurant workers when to expect a surge in orders.

By this time next year, Hyperactive Technologies expects to add software to recognize the type of vehicle to predict what customers will likely order.

One 28-year McDonald's manager calls the simulation "the most impressive thing" he's ever seen.

Estimating demand for food is essential to fattening profit margins. Overestimate demand and profits vanish in waste. Underestimate the need, and customers will be turned off by long lines.
