What does "pack structure" mean?

When I read the title "TO ESTABLISH PACK STRUCTURE WITH ADULT DOGS", it seems to me that pack structure refers to team organization struccture. But when I reached "I establish pack structure with an adult dog", my mind hesitated. Does the author mean "train an adult dog as a pack leader so that a pack structure can be established"?

Read in context, the author is talking about integrating an adult dog into his household and establishing social hierarchy therein, "pack structure."

I think if you read the article it becomes clear that the "pack structure" contemplated is in the relationship between the owner and the dog. The idea is for the owner to establish himself as the "pack" leader, and not let the dog get the idea that he is "leading the pack" (consisting of him and his owner).

Example from the article:

I meant to add, Oris, that this wasn't my impression when I first read the abbreviated "summary." I was confused too, for the same reasons you said you were.
