Hey, can you tell me if there is any grammer mistakes in the story?
"2 weeks ago, my mom asked from me and my sister to go to the supermarket to buy a few things.
She gave us money, we lost it and I blamed my sister, even though that I was the one who kept the money"
(not a real story btw)
@anonimyy,
Hey, can you tell me if there are any grammar mistakes in the following story?
"Two weeks ago my mom asked me and my sister to go to the supermarket to buy a few things. She gave us money but we lost it and so I blamed my sister, even though it was I to whom she had originally given the money
@anonimyy,
Off the top of my head:
Not Grammer => Gramm
ar.
"my mom asked from me and my sister" => "my mom asked my sister and me"
@Mocha25,
No, "my sister and me". You would not say "my mom asked I to go to the store". Likewise you would not say "my mom asked my sister and I".
Mom asked--that has to be followed by the objective, and me is the objective first person singular pronoun. Engineer is right.
