I want to check on the grammar of this sentence. Could you please help me?

Employee: I won't be able to show up next Tuesday. Please approve.
Manager: Not approved, and If you didn’t show up this day you will receive a warning.

So, is it right to say "if you didn't show up" or should I say "if you don't show up"?

Thanks in advance.

@dr4g0n,
Quote:
"if you don't show up"

Because you are talking about the future.

If you were talking about the past, it'd be "if you didn't show up"

@Ragman,
Thanks a lot Ragman.

So what is the difference between that sentence and "If you didn't come to party then you better go home"

It's a part of a song (Trina Braxton - Party Or Go Home).

@dr4g0n,
The phrase 'to party' is now a verb phrase in street slang. So what it means is if you don't come to celebrate, then stay home.
