@Squeakybro,
That's not the only connection you've not made.

@Joe Sixpack,
I don't think highly of myself. I think it is more your inferiority complex.

@Squeakybro,
Joe is my neighbor.
Trust me.
You will never find a nicer, more accomodating guy.
Self assured yet never too proud to help.
I think he pegged you a bullseye's bullseye.

@neologist,
The carnal mind always looks at things backwards. I have boldness to share the Word of God. And the carnal mind can only see arrogance or pride. Which I would not be allowed to have the Word abiding in me if I was proud or arrogant. I hope you don't get your priorities mixed up.

Matt 5:46-47
46 "For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?
47 "And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so?
(NKJ)

Luke 6:32-33
32 "But if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them.
33 "And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.

@Squeakybro,
I knock on doors to share the good news. Our preaching is outlawed in many lands, but is carried on nevertheless, despite real threats of imprisonment. In WWII Germany, despite concentration camps, even executions, there were more JWs at the end of the war then at the beginning.

We are the leading organization in the world when it comes to the translating of bible literature, with well over 700 languages at this point. Compare that with the number of languages in which United Nations' documents are available. Google it. We take no collections. Our literature is free. No request for home bible study is ever turned down regardless of the travel that may be required.

Speaking of priorities - our primary obligation is to bear witness to the truth.

You have ignored the truth about the identity of your 'spirit'.

@neologist,
I didn't know you were JW. That's good they do have a lot of it right. More so than a lot of the others.

@neologist,
I do invite them in. But when I show them some revelations or demonstrate the Spirit. They go get their supervisor. Then after I demonstrate the Spirit they leave. The are always welcome in my house.
This is usually why they leave. They show me Act. And I show them Luke
I show them in acts that they went to a spiritual house(church) to teach. They called for the elders of the church to meet with.

Acts 20:17-20
17 From Miletus he sent to Ephesus and called for the elders of the church.
18 And when they had come to him, he said to them: "You know, from the first day that I came to Asia, in what manner I always lived among you,
19 "serving the Lord with all humility, with many tears and trials which happened to me by the plotting of the Jews;
20 "how I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house,
(NKJ)

Luke 10:7
7 "And remain in the same house, eating and drinking such things as they give, for the laborer is worthy of his wages. Do not go from house to house.

@Squeakybro,
You do know there was a difference in purpose for the message before and after the New Covenant, right?

So, there is no contradiction here.

@Squeakybro,
I am certain I would be able to make a more extensive repudiation of the trinity doctrine than you could. And, not because I am smart, just better at research.

Check this thread and see if you have anything to add:
