On Road test - tester takes a phone call...

My daughter took her road test today -- bad news she failed on the parellel parking - 16 year olds must be the best parellel parkers in the world as I would have had a tough time with it - but that is an aside. And I know she will get it next time.

Any way - the tester took a call while my daughter was driving and she was instructing her. I don't know but that rubbed me the wrong way. Are RMV road testers allowed to take calls while they are on a road test? Isn't that dangerous?
