That is, both Thales and Aristotle are the founders of physical science?
Context:
Thales ['θeili:z]
n.
a presocratic Greek philosopher and astronomer (who predicted an eclipse in 585 BC) who was said by Aristotle to be the founder of physical science; he held that all things originated in water (624-546 BC)

Is this thread ignored or abandoned?
@oristarA,
Aristotle said Thales was the founder of physical science.
The statement about Thales was made by Aristotle.
