Dear, dear Noddy. Accuracy, brevity and speed. Well, two out of three.

It's okay when referring to the letter "I"

I is the letter between H and J.

I is the roman numeral for one.

Equus--

You put me to shame. Still, correctly punctuated, " 'I' is....."

When lovely woman stoops to folly,
The evening can be awfully jolly.

When lovely woman stoops to folly,
The evening can be awfully jolly.

But not if my name is Wally,
and I drive a bright red lorry.

Forget the lorry--if Wally has lolly, the evening can be very jolly.

I hear you breathing, softly greeting,
is it rain or my heart beating?
Wally has no lolly to seal a meeting.
Farewell Princess, midnight sleeping.

Alas, we found 'twas a lost endeavor,
Piper and dancers are gone forever.

Tis clear, cried they, "our mayor's a noddy;"
Robert Browning (THE PIED PIPER OF HAMELIN)

The saddest words I ever heard were words of parting
I will remember you when the candle lights are gleaming
It will be so sweet when all alone I'm dreaming
of returning to find the remedy I isÂ… seeking

...sweet, sweet sorrow...and miles to go....

A dearer honour--now almost 'tis thine
We do remember to remember yet?

To the world's end men shall remember thee!
They shall remember, yea, and more than this:

But I have promises to keep,
and miles to go before I sleep.

Adieu, adieu! my native shore
Fades o'er the water blue;
The night-winds sigh, the breakers roar,
Yon sun that sets upon the sea
I follow in his flight;
Farewell awhile to him and thee,
My native Land - Good Night!

"'Tis some visitor," I muttered, "tapping at my chamber door-
Only this, and nothing more."
