Ich lasse mich überrashen.
Ich möchte mich überrashen lassen.

How to say those in English?

überrashen should be uberraschen.

Ich lasse mich überraschen = I can be surprised.

Ich möchte mich überrashen lassen = I would like to be able to be surprised.

Not bad at all, Adrian!

Maybe, the first sentence should be better "I'll take potluck".

And the second "I want to be caught napping"/ "I want to be caught off guard".

(Adrian's translations are a bit too literally - just a bit, because that would be understood!)
