BTW, the launch took place ten minutes ago, if I'm informed correctly

I'll check out my schedule tonight, dice. Also, if a week's delay doesn't work for someone else, I hope to hear about it today. I would really hate to miss out on the creator of this idea.
On shuttle launches; I would love to see one, but there probably won't be a hotel or airline vacancy in sight.

On the weekend 28th-29th of march there will actually be 2 launches, both of expendable vehicles(whatever they are?)
Today's launch was a shuttle launch
On the 28th and 29th, Atlas and Delta rockets, I believe. Also way cool to see. Today's launch was beautiful ~ not one solitary cloud in the sky to hinder the view.....breathtaking it was.....
Never mind the motorcade with at least five cops from every municipality in Cocoa Beach this morning.....Most of ya'll are in bigger cities (I think) and are used to 'traffic'. Floridians in small towns get nervous when traffic backs up for two blocks ~ this morning it was two miles!

c.i., what Misti said. Do it! BTW, where will you land on your way back from Equador and for how long? I'd love for you and your wife to come to our place for a visit.
Letty, since you are on my way to Rae's, could I pick you up and take you down just for a day and bring you back that evening? I would be happy to do it and it would be great fun for you to be there with the rest of the a2kers.

Letty, I've been meaning to ask you if your avatar is a drawing of you? You are much more beautiful, but it does have a similarity.

blush....... I didn't know you good folks posted some messages to me, and I, I.....made a arse out of myself! Anyways, I'll be landing at Miami International on my way back on May 16 for only two hours, and we need to clear through customs before I catch my flight back to San Jose. I'll be by my lonesome, becaues my wife doesn't like to a) see too much poverty, and b) doesn't like boats, because she gets seasick easily. Thanks for the offer(s) anyway, you lovely people! My wife and I did a Florida trip some years ago to visit Disneyworld, so we took in Kennedy Space Center and St Augustine. We also did a Caribbean cruise many years ago that embarked from Ft Lauderdale. c.i.

I'm certainly happy you guys are not coming this weekend, it's going to be very cold and I would feel so bad for you!
I want you to enjoy the sun 'n fun when you come here, and not have to worry about bundling up!

c.i., you're so cute when you blush!!
A friend of mine, very witty, said, "Nudity is for the young in parts."
If you can talk the young ones into play nekkid, do you promise to find a way to get there?

I've always been "young at heart." Age is a relative thing; I'm still pretty young compared to some centanarians. c.i.

Rae, have you been able to get a sense of just when everyone is planning to be there? I could probably skew my schedule around to be on hand when bigdice and urs arrive, but that might make me miss out on someone else. What are your thoughts?

Far as I can tell Roger, 'everyone' is working on when Stefan and Ursula will be here. Because it's easier for all of us ~ we're here!
I haven't heard anything definite from anyone else who has to travel further than out-of-state.

And we appreciate it very much that everyone is trying to match our travel plans.
Roger, that would be great! Stefan will be happy to hear that.
Rae, we found pictures of the hotel on the internet. It looks great. I can't wait!
