Yeah, Piffka.....come on down! When Mom told me how hot it was today, I was shocked! We had a beautiful ocean breeze at the hotel all day ~ some clouds were in the sky, but the sun was out.....and it was just a good day to play hookey.....

Gorgeous kitties...totally relaxed, and, oh no, not spoiled, at all!!!
You ladies don't know how tempted I am -- I looked at where Cocoa Beach was on the map. TOO COOL. You're not only right ono the beach, the beach is all around you. It must be fantastic.

Piffka, I am trying to think of ways to tempt you ... 88F today!
Yes, we do have lots of water around us, not only the ocean but the Indian River and Banana River too.
Yeah, Piffka, misti's right! With the water on all sides, it has to be a nice feeling, don't ya think?

Misti, I just went to cocoabeach.com. There are so many things to see and do. We will run out of time! But so what! The last weekend before we are leaving is here!!! :-)
I bought tons of cat food and cat litter today so the catsitters won't run out of anything.
And I got more artificial sun yesterday. Which means I have even more freckles now.

Urs, yep, there's a lot to see and do, but you do have 10 days, right?
We can do a lot of damage in that time, he he!
Your kitties will be well taken care of, but they will miss you anyway.
Freckles are beautiful girl, so flaunt them!
We've warned Paddy and Lacey to be on their best behaviour while you're here, they were not too happy with that.
When I came home at lunch time yesterday, you could not see the kitchen floor because they had taken a roll of paper towels and shredded them all over the floor, and they broke a very precious glass nativity I had, but, hey, what can you do?

Thank you Babs, and they are very spoiled ... which I don't mind doing at all. They ask very little from us but give a lot back:)
Have you considered joining us for our gathering? We'd love it if you could make it:)

Misti, why should Paddy and Lacey behave differently than Nisse and Mysan? They are always at the their best - what they consider their best. Our neighbour is very much looking forward to taking care of them. And so is Kerstin, the official catsitter. But of course - we will miss them...
Five more working days! And the weather is great so it's easy to get into the vacation spirit :-)

Now why would he say a thing like that, I wonder? I would NEVER EVER forget him. In fact, I probably just saved the trip by finding out that his ticket was not issued with the same name as in his passport - the first name in the passport is not Stefan. The ticket was issued for Stefan. So Delta might have refused to check him in in Stuttgart because of this name difference.
Anyway, the roll of film is still in the camera and I'll have it developed in Florida. So I will not forget the pictures.

Hi to all of you Florida Gathering folks. I just returned from the London Gathering, and I can tell you it was fantastic! We met at the ye olde Cheshire Cheese, a pub made famous by Dickens, Dr Johnson, and many other literaries. We spent a couple hours there for drinks, then proceeded in two taxis to Bombay Palace for dinner. McTag, kitchenpete, Walter, Gautam, Fiona (the better half of McTag), Steve, and meself made up the group. Will post a pic when I get them developed later this week. c.i.
