An afternoon/evening at our house is a given ~ bar-b-que, pool (if anyone is brave enough), and a session of just gettin to know each other in person.....

I do not like being photographed, especially those sneaky little shots called "candid". I can put up with it though.
Barbeque at Rae's sounds great. I'm really going to meet the people I've been corrosponding with for months and even years. The rest is just a bonus. We could do this in Fargo, North Dakota, for all I care, if the same group were assembled there.
I really would like to see a manatee in the wild, if possible, but don't need to get in there and pull its whiskers (they have whiskers, right?). Oh, would also like to smell the night air in Florida. When I lived in Miami, you could almost chew it before inhaling.
My wants are simple, then. How about the rest of the crew?
Rae, are there any springs close by? I know that there are several in Florida that are quite beautiful.
Pictures are OK even though I cringe every time I see myself.
I would love it if everybody brought pictures from home of family, friends, landscape etc., to give us an idea of what the area you live in looks like.
There used to be one spring between Orlando and Sanford when I lived there in the 50s. For all I know, it is now a part of Disneyworld. There was another in the Orlando area in which the spring flowed from the mouth of a cave. I was there as a very small boy and both areas have surely been fully commercialized by now. Anyway, central Florida does seem conducive to their formation. Orlando itself is full of lakes formed by collapsed limestone caverns.
Mantees I would like to see some of those. But I'm with Rog on being happy just to meet up y'all. Whateever we do will be fine with me.
Awwwwwww, man! Ya'll are killin me! There is a favorite fishing spot that Dougy and I have......we've never had much luck with fish, but we've always been entertained by the dolphins and manatees.
With my luck though, I'd take ya'll fishin and we wouldn't see squat. (Because of a friend who has a charter business, I am capable of getting poles for everyone.....but, would ya'll want to go fishin?)
Oh, I am sooooooooooooooo upset over this 'planning' stuff.....
What I've heard about Fargo, North Dakota, from my brother-in-law, I'd say ok to that too! Anywhere where you guys will be gathering... we'd like to be there, as well!
