I think that it would help Bush's chances, but doubt it's being seriously considered, unless Cheney is really on the fence about doing another term.

Who knows...

I read two biographies of Rudy Guiliani (sp?) this weekend.
Apparently, he's got his eye on Mr. Cheney's chair.

It's back to Halliburton folks!! Time to 'take the profits'.

There are enough contracts in the 'New' Iraq to keep them rolling buck-naked in dollars till the end of the decade. And why should Richard miss out on his cut?

haha, Sofia! Smile
It could happen, and it would probably be a good thing for Bush, and for Cheney, but I doubt that McCain would go for it. I think he wants to be top dog. But you never know. I just don't think McCain is evil enough to be a good partner for Bush.
Giuliani can kiss my you-know-what!
I hope it stays as is, cause that team is going down!

Unless Cheney has a massive heart attack between now and November, he'll be on the ticket...much to my delight. Very Happy

Well, if he should drop out, he'll probably have plenty of time and energy to take his own advice and go f**k himself...

Not much chance of switching to the Big League either......

Dick Cheney Booed When Shown On Screen At Yankees Game
POSTED: 11:09 am EDT June 30, 2004

NEW YORK -- Vice President Dick Cheney was on hand for Tuesday's sell-out game between the Yankees and Red Sox in New York.

But the VP probably didn't win any votes in New England as he donned a Yankees baseball hat.

Cheney visited both clubhouses after batting practice and watched part of the game from the box of Yankees owner George Steinbrenner.

He also spent time in first-row seat next to the Yankees dugout, where he sat between New York Gov. George Pataki and former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani.

Cheney was booed when he was shown on the right-field videoboard during the seventh-inning stretch.

If McCain goes for the second chair with Bush, my whole thinking about him will change from good to evil.

Mine already has. He's a conservative at heart. We fell for him because he actually uttered a few things that were true. It seems he was just grasping Howard Dean's coattails temporarily, when he realizred tht Americans appreciate the truth. He is campaigning for Bush even though he had given the impression that underneath it all, he could see the forest. Guess he took off his glasses!

I don't think Cheney will be dumped at this point.

Powell is probably damaged goods since he admitted fudging on the WMD sales pitch.

McCain and Bush are too much at odds with one another, don't know if that would sound like a good idea to most Repub electorate.

Not bad, bp. Not a grain of truth in it, but not bad at all.

Ah, the Dump Dick movement gains momentum.

By the time the GOP realizes he is a drag on the ticket (a la Quayle) it will be too late to do anything about it.

Not that Prezdint Mission Accomplished has the stones to do so anyway...

...whoever heard of the toddler firing his nanny?
