"pressure" collocates infinitive forms.

The sentence you quoted is part of title (sub-heading, I suppose). Writers often use quirky expressions to get readers' attention. A more normal way of expressing that would be 'resist pressure to adjust their facts in response to the failure (to reach an accord).'
