You know it is a bad habit to assume things about people. I have always been for social programs to help the poor and the needy to get a leg up in society and I absolutely believe in unions and fair wages. I just do not believe we can afford to do all the things Bernie wants to do, it would cripple us as a nation if even he managed to get it passed. I don't look at small steps as being a compromise or a bad thing, but a practical thing when dealing with congress and conservative governors where a lot of these things have to be organized.

@bobsal u1553115,
The polls showing Bernie beating Trump by a slightly wider margin than Hillary beats Trump do not take into account that the Republicans have spent very little time criticizing Bernie at all. They have put all their effort into an all-out assault against Mrs. Clinton, whom they do not want to face in November and would like very much to see beaten by Bernie.

Then if Bernie gets the nomination, we are going to hear all about the Socialist Workers Party and Communist ties and whatnot in his background. They're not mentioning it now because they greatly desire that Bernie beats Hillary.

@Blickers,
Right you are. And Bernie has the media in his pocket because its how they sell papers and air time. they want the race to be close as long as possible.

Be very careful. Reasoning Logic has a very nasty habit of squirreling away information about private individuals for use later on to cause maximum distress. He preyed on my fears about my daughters year away in China. Believe me you're better off with him making assumptions. Don't tell him anything about yourself that he can use later, because he will.

As I told you before I am sorry for hurting your feelings. But you do have to admit that you are an easy push over don't you? Rolling Eyes

@izzythepush,
I've learned that a lot of people have that tendency, sometimes, I slip and get carried away because I find I love to write about myself, but most times I try to avoid giving away vulnerabilities. Disgusting he is proud you were in his mind easy to push over. Sometimes people reveal themselves without meaning to.

I listed the issues I believe would be too sweeping to do all once or do to much of it, ending corporate socialism is definitely not one of them.

When someone starts making jokes about your daughter being raped it's time to put them on ignore.

His my way or no way attitude. Consider the minimum wage is 7 and a few cents an hour and it has been that since 2009. Raising it 10 an hour would be quite an improvement. That doesn't seem acceptable to him or his supporters.

well noted

I think it is something we generally have to be aware of. It's sometimes difficult to remember that it's not just friends of ours posting here.

@reasoning logic,
All of them. I check every day and you find 5 articles for Bernie and Trump to 1 for Hillary. Like the Nebraska primary vote yesterday. According to the article I found after 60 min. of searching Hillary is beating Bernie 59% to 41% but since no delegates are won they just refuse to print it. 3 or 4 times as many votes in the democratic primary where everyone can vote as in the undemocratic caucuses where only the young kids can vote. See if you can find the Nebraska popular vote for 5/10/2016. I gave up.
