This is from the "oops" link:
Sanders still trails Clinton by ranges of 10 to 15 points in the polls in New York. And although the latest polls don’t factor in any gains from Thursday’s debate, Sanders faces an uphill battle to score big in the Empire State. But analysts say the Vermont U.S. senator can spin the primary into a victory if he closes the gap, but he would still face a daunting delegate deficit.

“At a minimum, he would have to get it down to single digits,” said Chris Galdieri, a political science professor at St. Anselm College.

“Even then ... Clinton increases her lead and because New York has so many delegates, it’ll basically probably wipe out whatever ground Sanders gained in recent wins,” Galdieri said.

@revelette2,
Oh, and I suppose Hillary doesn't milk every darn moment and oportunity? Hillary had no trouble leaping onto the stage with NY Governor Andrew Cuomo when he announced that the new minimum wage would he $15.00. Prior to that she never pushed for that high a figure; but, to hear her tell it, she has been rallying for the fifteen bucks for at least fifteen years.

All politicians use their moment to gain some extra attention from the media, Senator Sanders is not the only one.

Saw a snippet on a different site that Bill (bulshitter) Clinton accused Sanders people of wanting to shoot a third of Wallstreeters. Then he tried to cover himself by explaining it was a joke.

What, you think he was seriously saying Bernie people wanted to murder wall streeters?

@snood,
Knowing the Clintons, I'd not be surprised if that was precisely the image he was attempting to convey.

I don't see anyone trying to say Sanders is the only one who does politician-type ****. I think it's fair to point it out when he does do politician-type ****, because his followers sometimes try to portray him as if he's above all that. Pandering, altering his position when it's unpopular, negative attacks on the opposition, photo ops - ALL of them do that stuff. Motivated by good old human **** like ambition. Not exclusively Bernie for sure, but including Bernie.

Oh, bullshit. It was a line thrown out for a frikkin cheap laugh.It was a bad joke, and that's why he walked it back. Not because anyone thought he was accusing Berniebots of maybe attempting murder. Get real for crissakes.

If you didn't see Bernie's closing statement at the end of the Brooklyn Democrat debate, you should give it a look.

Do you think this will be the reality at the primary?

Wow. Thousands of people got together with local Bernie supporters and had mini dinner fundraisers. This is the best movement I can imagine. So incredibly proud of these people and Bernie.

Thanks George Clooney. You wound up creating a new cash flow, great press, and an unforgettable picture image for this election.

Much is being made of George Clooney fundraiser event, but I wonder if those who are making so much of it realize that a good deal of that money goes to others in the DNC for this years election?

Quote:
If those numbers seem high under what is allowed under primary rules, they are – but they also are perfectly within what’s permitted. Like the Sting event and the Radio City Music Hall event of March 2, this weekend’s two Hillary Victory Fund affairs take only the allowed $2,700 per individual or $5,000 a couple directly for the Hillary for America ledger. The rest of the dough is divided up between the Democratic National Committee and state parties from Arkansas to Wyoming for the general election.

@revelette2,

The longer this frivolous lawsuit continues, the greater the legal bills these kooks will have to pay to the gun manufacturers in the end.

The pope set up his meeting with Bernie. LOL. You're really stewing in your jealousy over the pope respecting Bernie, aren't you?

Not really. A few years ago when the Pope came to America, he saw NY Jets' starting quarterback Kellen Clemens, his wife, and their four week old baby. The Pope gave Kellen Clemen's baby a blessing and a kiss.
http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_corner/post/Kellen-Clemens-s-kid-gets-a-Papal-blessing?urn=nfl,77620

Shortly thereafter, Clemens lost his starting position as the NY Jets' quarterback, eventually got cut and has been been riding the bench for several teams since then.

Just saying.
