@reasoning logic,
The Young Turks video you posted to "prove" a blackout on coverage of Bernie only offered proof that Bernie got much less coverage than Hillary or Trump in 2015. It's true that Bernie was not taken all that seriously last year in the beginning stages of the campaign. But it is also clear that Bernie has received scads of coverage this year, when the primary season was underway.

You can't compare the coverage Bernie got last year when nobody knew he was a serious candidate to all the coverage Bernie got since Iowa and New Hampshire. There is no present "Bernie Blackout" at all.

@Blickers,
True, I never even heard of Bernie Sanders until Edgar posted this thread.

When I was demonstrating for civil rights in the 60s, Bernie was there too. His message for liberal causes has never changed over the years. The public has finally reached a point where more and more they have caught up with him.

@edgarblythe,
No her voting record is not the problem, the only bad voting record she has is to do with Iraq and Israel and most of the democrats in congress vote that well as well, if that were disqualifying, then nobody but Obama and Sanders I guess could be president. I don't believe that it is disqualifying. What I think is disqualifying is being totally unprepared for officer because you spend all your time touting out platitudes and slogans and not time thinking of real solutions.

Hillary Clinton: A Lifetime Champion of Income Opportunity

Blickers has left a lengthy list of Hillary's votes which quite frankly dispel the lie that she beholden to big oil and companies just because she accepts donations like everyone else, including Sanders.

I never heard of him until 4 months before I voted for him in Florida and many people I talked to did not know of him. He was blocked out of Florida for quite some time.

Oh yeah? Razz

Bernie Sanders has been on MSNBC regularly for years. Here's a clip from five years ago, in April 2011:

How you win caucuses,...& then lose them. You bus in a bunch of paid hobos to show up and outnumber local voters. You hope the momentum will pay off and you won't be discovered. But, yeah, when the caucusers have to show up later to be verified, of course, they aren't there.

It's ok if Bernie racks up delegates like this. A win is a win.

And Bernie will win.

@Lash,
Hillary's people don't show up at the verification because they tend to be older and have obligations, unlike the Bernie voters who can just cut class and show up with their friends.

Love this caucus routine. Imagine going to a polling place on Election Day, and instead of going to the booth, filling out the ballot and going home, you get put into a room with people you know and everyone TALKS about the election for a couple of hours. Then you get to stand with your fellow supporters in a special place for your candidate, so your neighbors and in-laws get to see who you are voting for. Then when its all over, you have to show up AGAIN weeks later and get verified.

This is democracy?

You have to have a lot of time on your hands to go through this.

@Blickers,
Maybe they could go one step further and apportion delegates based on the decibel level of a candidate's supporters.

And bonus delegates for frequency of posts to social media.

I believe this would be called electioneering if it happened in a general election. We don't seem to share many opinions, but I think we've got the fundamentals down.

The Berniacs usually just love it when Seth McFarlane speaks, because he's a big Bernie supporter. Wonder how they feel about him saying they should STFU.

Seth MacFarlane tells Bernie fans to stop bashing Hillary over trivial crap – because they’re helping Trump

Bernie wins Wyoming...so they suspect. What is that, nine of the last ten contests?

Nicely done, Bernardus.

@Lash,
Just curious Lash.

I'm under the impression that you think Super Delegates should follow the lead of the voters in the states they reside in.

Do you think that regular pledged delegates should follow the lead of the voters in the states they are supposed to represent?

If you do, I would think the only conclusion you could draw would be to oppose these delegates voting for Bernie if they are intended to represent Clinton's support within the state.

@maporsche,
The rules are pre-established, and I think ppl should follow the established rules. I think some of the more insane rules should be changed, but not in the middle of the game.

I think the concept of Superdelegates is unAmerican.
