@cicerone imposter,
Quote:
Wisconsin’s voter ID law is one of the harshest in the country and requires voters to produce one of a few specified forms of photo identification in order to vote. This restriction imposes a substantial burden on the right to vote by requiring photo identification that many voters do not have, and that many voters cannot easily obtain, in violation of the Fourteenth Amendment of the Constitution. In addition, the Wisconsin voter ID law violates Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act, which prohibits the use of voting practices that have a negative impact on racial and language minorities. Research commissioned by the ACLU indicates the law has a disproportionate impact on Black and Latino voters, who are twice as likely to lack photo ID accepted for voting in Wisconsin compared to white voters.

Snood is right, voter suppression will mostly affect minorities which up to this point have been Hillary supporters.

@revelette2,
Not to mention the elderly, who have also been Hillary supporters.

Not sure why this is bad for Sanders....

@maporsche,
I think I may be able to answer that, Wisconsin primary is coming up, it is supposed to be in Hillary's favor. I think edgar was using a preemptive tactic.

Lame-ass Bernie Sanders fizzles out on the weak side of an 80 percent. "Why doesn't that old loser drop out?" mutters main stream media.

@Lash,
Too bad there aren't very many caucuses left in this primary season (only 2 more).

Bernie's campaign will burn soon enough.

@Lash,
Bernie is trailing badly in polls in Wisconsin, NY, NJ, Maryland and California. If he doesn't get 66% or more in those states he can't win the nomination.

Dear Lash,

You are delusional about what is actually happening

@parados,
He's not trailing hugely in Wisconsin. Single digit deficit.

@snood,
He needs to win over 60% in Wisconsin to hope to stay on track to having a chance of winning. I should have said he is a long ways from what he needs to win the nomination.

538 has an interesting nomination tracker. It sets the goals of what Hillary and Bernie need to win in each state to win the majority of the delegates.

http://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/election-2016/delegate-targets/democrats/

So far, Clinton is above prediction and Sanders is below. Hillary is projected to not win almost every state from here on out and still gain the majority of the delegates based on the original predictions.

@parados,
...at which point Sanders will try to persuade democratic leadership to abandon their first woman nominee, abandon a lifelong democrat, abandon some of the best fundraisers in their party, AND abandon the leader in vote and delegates.

He'll try to persuade them to do that because this non-democrat has 'momentum.' Not votes. Not delegates. But momentum.

Ain't going to happen folks.

I only come hit and miss to these threads because people can't resist the personal attacks. I mostly post what I have to say and then move on without even checking for replies, because I no longer expect to encounter any civility.
