I don't know what you mean - where I come from a watershed event means something that makes an enormous change in one's life.
Have you had an enormous change in your life recently?
Well aidan-when Motivator won the Derby life did go into a little sort of spiral but things have settled down now and, apart from the after tremors, have resumed their natural steady state.
Do you like "enormous change"?
sometimes, in fact most of the time - I find that I do. I look forward to it. One of my real shortcomings is that I get bored easily and need a lot of stimulation.
Do you have a good attention span?
Noticed it, liked it - is all. Perfect weather here.
You?
I have a good attention span for things that interest me - in fact I tend to get too focused and absorbed. But the down-side is that if I'm not interested in the subject, I can't make myself devote any time to it at all.
Perfect weather here as well - hoping it holds. What did you have for your lovely lunch today?
Yes I have.I think it is a duty.I know it can be a hardship as well but I'm an ascetic and we ascetics revel in a little hardship providing it is not extreme.
I can understand you getting bored easily though but now you're in England, thanks to a fantastic intuition you had, maybe it won't happen quite so often.
Would you like to not get bored so easily?
Yes, it is really a curse sometimes.
Do you have any suggestions as to how I can require less stimulation?
Yes.Cold showers.Read books about long term unfortunate conditions.Watching cricket.
Do you think you are too lucky?
In some ways - yes-even spoiled perhaps-but I don't think that has anything to do with me requiring a lot of stimulation.
On a scale of 1-10 how would you rate your own specific "luckiness" factor?
Oh-that's easy.10.I'm an English country bumpkin with no more wars to fight.
Can you get luckier than that?
no - not if that makes you happy - to be happy with what you are is to be extremely lucky.
Are you close to your family?
Bosom pals despite their complete idiocy.I find that quite endearing.
Don't you find that interesting people, such as Chairman Mao for example, are very boring?
Never having met him, I can't comment on whether he possessed a sparkling personality or not. He certainly led an event-filled life though.
Do you have any brothers and/or sisters?
(Try really, really hard to answer truthfully - I'd really like to know).
I do have a brother but he's a complete idiot.I have two sisters also and both of them are complete idiots as well. But I'm the eldest, the love child so to speak. My father was trying to avoid having me on his plate. He always said "in for a penny,in for a pound".
Do you think he made a mistake?
What, you- a mistake? Never. I also don't believe that your brothers and sisters are complete idiots. They may act idiotic on occasion - but come on- are they really complete idiots?
Are you glad you are not an only child?
Most definitely. If you have one you should get them a brother or sister or two.A kid needs allies.
Not that mine were much use.I had to sort my Mum and Dad out single-handed.Some of the ideas they had beggar belief.
Did you not find your parents a trifle tiresome?
I have really good parents. When I was growing up, I had a somewhat contentious relationship with my mother - you know the whole adolescent mother/daughter fiasco- but my father was always my main man - right there for me - to this day.
I also get along really well with my mother now. They were never really unreasonable in any way and gave me a lot of advantages-but yeah when I wanted to do my own thing and they stood in the way you could say I found them tiresome (to put it mildly).
Were you a good or a bad kid - or somewhere in between?
Oh aidan-I was as good as good gets.Everybody said I was destined for the priesthood and I would have gone along with that but then I discovered what it entailed and I had to disappoint them.
Did you ever fancy being a nun?
Never - couldn't do it. I just always really liked the idea of love and romance and sex (to be blunt). But sometimes I think I would like to go on a spiritual retreat. But no - I've always been interested in men - I had my first crush when I was in second grade - Curtis R. - I can still picture him....
Are you pulling my leg about being so perfect? Your sense of humor seems just a little too wicked for that to be true. Sure you're not thinking of some other little boy?
I can honestly say aidan that I have never thought of another little boy in anyway apart from how to get their money off them. How could I not be perfect.I had nothing to go on.
Are you a believer in original sin?
