The romance of travel, perhaps. Imagine the thrill of waking in the middle of the night on a train crossing the Gobi Desert and seeing the frost sparkling in the moonlight. I've done that.

Sure I do.Why only just now I was imagining Clary and aidan coming into the pub and desperate to be put up for the night and so tired that they wouldn't know what was going on once they hit the mattress.

Torn between Europe and Asia, but it's only because I've lived 30 yrs in one and 20 in the other. You become attached to places when you know them well. And they are so disparate - Europe, Asia are hardly more than mental constructs really.
