No children here, but I like to act like I'm 3 occasionally. Dogs or cats? Which is a better pet?

Oh-dirty mean looking British Blue Tom-cats which only wake up for four things apart from very loud noises.

Funny you should say you" like to act like you're three" - and right before Spendi posted- what a coincidence. I like dogs - in fact I have an incredible golden retriever named Pearl.

And because Spendius didn't leave us with a question, I'll ask one.

Where did you grow up?(if you are grown up - and if you're not - where is your childhood being spent)

Mathos - Mathos-Mathos.

You're supposed to answer the question and then ask one.

Since you didn't ask me one, I'll answer mine - I am one of six children - two brothers and three sisters.

How do you think your friend would feel if he knew you thought he was "weak in the head?" Do you feel disloyal revealing this to strangers?

No, I don't feel disloyal at all, not regarding Spendius, they are not real people you must understand, not from that god forsaken county of misty barren hills and reservoirs. Oh yes they look like present day man, but in reality they are a fault of nature which we have to put up with. Their county was much larger once, but the Lancastrians thrashed them in The War of The Roses and thankfully reduced it to hovels in the hills, were nobody else lived in any event.

I am one of six, alas two of my brothers passed away during the first 18 months of their short lives, one with convulsions and one with a stomach irregularity. I also had one older and two younger sisters, the elder unfortunately passing away some four years since. My two younger sister's are fine, depending of course on how fine is expressed, but they are ok.

Now every word I have quoted is truth, but it could so easily have been fabricated. Spendius I note is reluctant to talk, he may well have memories of being a street urchin and not wish to discuss it. I rather think that could be a fair and proper assessment of the old sot as well.

I had been taking it easy with him of late, but as you will no doubt notice, he scurries around taking little nips when my back is turned.

Question Aidan,

What kind of music do you enjoy snuggling down with on a cold winter night?

Yes, I had noticed that. He tends to be quite moody - but as that is true of any of us on any given day- I guess he can be excused - this time anyway.

How do you earn your living - or are you independently wealthy?

Well I am independantly wealthy, but I work, I work because I enjoy working and it benefits my mental and corporeal faculties, of that I have no doubt. Idle hands, you know.....

I enjoy travel and usually take two to three months of the year, during winter, treking in The Orient, or indeed a lazy type vacation. Depends on my mood, and the mood of the lady I take.

You will note my dog Mr Ralph, on my avatar, I am fond of all animals, they are wonderful indeed to observe and be trusted by them, even the birds talk to me.

You are a very inquisitive young lady..

What is the most important thing to you in a relationship Aidan?

Mathos - in response to your question which I just noticed might not have been the last one - but I've already typed this so...

Hmm, on a cold winter night, as opposed to a warm, summer night? One of my very favorite songs is "River" by Joni Mitchell - especially in the winter.

"It's coming on Christmas - they're cutting down trees - they're putting up reindeer and singing songs of joy and peace - oh I wish I had a river - I could skate away on.... I wish I had a river so long, I'd teach my feet to fly - oh I wish I had a river - I could skate away on - I made my baby cry....
Have you heard it? Very hauntingly beautiful.

What's your favorite song (or one that comes to mind off the top of your head)?

Most important thing in a relationship is trust-no question- I have to be able to trust a person to be who they say they are.
