@Dutchy,
Well Duchy -per your sleep question: Reason 1 - It's one of the few times during any 24 hour period when I am not experiencing much pain caused by my severe rheumatoid arthritis & Reason 2 - I have a far more fascinating dream life than my "real" life which now is severely limited in comparison to what I used to love doing (mountain hiking, biking, camping, whitewater rafting, canoeing & while on that topic, section 4 of the Chatooga River was my all time favorite) AND I was once upon a time ABLE to do all these things before being crippled with this disease. Because I have had RA since I was 7 or 8 yrs old I truly AM very grateful for all of the good years I DID have, but it hurts when you have to hang such good times up.

@babsatamelia,
I'm sorry to hear that "babs". May I call you that, or is it presuming too much?

And, yes, Dutch-, love hot summers, especially when the humidity isn't so high.

Are you keeping warm?

Sorry to hear about your predicament Bassatamelia, I have another friend here with RA, and know what you're experiencing. Sincerely hope you can cope with your situation.

As for your question Dev, yes I'm keeping warm , hate to see my coming gas bill but I don't care, not going to sit shivering here. LOL. After our hottest summer on record we're now heading to one of our coldest winters. It is a winter without snow and frosts but for us folks downunder it feels very cold!

Do you need airconditioning in your part of the US in summer?

@Dutchy,
You betcha. This summer hasn't been so bad. Sometimes we'll need it June to September. This year July was the worst of it and August is quite pleasant.

You don't get snow? What kind of wussies are you?! Wink

@Dutchy,
He is very good, but I would hesitate in saying he is the best Olympian ever. I don't know enough about past Olympic greats to make a fair judgement.
