Yes, several recipes, I came up with all on my own. I also had a plan (which I came up with with my brother-in-law) for a collapsable shopping trolley- to avoid all the disgusting germs which you would run into on a normal shopping trolley- you know because kids drool on them and wear soiled nappies/diapers on them etc., but we never got past the idea stage.

How about you?

Yes, I made a tool to fit hydrolic gas-filled lifts to pop top caravans.

Have you ever been on a caravan camping tour around the country?

No.

Have you ever been making love in the heather and suddenly noticed hundreds of ants running around on the lady's belly.

I once knew a Gus...but whatever you've heard is a bald faced lie. Laughing

Have you ever wished that you hadn't said something the very instant it left your lips?

No, I always carefully consider what I'm about to utter, and stand by it, however if I'm wrong, I'm always willing to acknowledge that and offer an apology.

Do you think our Politicians should be more honest?

Ohmigod, yes. I'm fuming about Bush's commutation of Scooter Libby's prison sentence today. Evil or Very Mad

Have you always taken an interest in politics?

Did you know our Prime Minister is know as Pres. Bush's puppy in this Country? What ever George says Johnny does.

Absolutely, he's done far to much damage already in my humble opinion, I have no idea how you people regard him. I always knew Vietnam was a lost cause and I feel the same about Iraq, but I will back him in his fight against terrorism.

Leaving politics alone, what do you do with yourself to keep in a happy frame of mind?

That's not easy to answer Mathos, because times are changing all the time. I'm sure my behaviour as a youngster was totally different than that of my father, and my son's was totally different to me. On first view one would probably say you're right, but if you look further, there are plenty of youngsters performing well in the sporting world, setting new records all the time, feats which require discipline. Maybe it is just a temporary phenomena and people will automatically adjust their lifestyle for the better in due course.

Are you a great believer in physical fitness for everyone?

I believe certain standards of fitness should be maintained, obviously we don't want fanatical fitness levels. However some of the obesity you see in kids today is alarming, to put it mildly. Also the binge drinking culture which is sweeping the UK and again at an alarming rate, (it isn't just beer either) fancy alcohol, spirits etc etc. There are presently 100 people A DAY being admitted to hospital in the UK with alcohol related illnesses.

A few years from now and they expect some extremely serious figures. Well they are stopping every body smoking, (which is good) no doubt they will be drawing up plans now to stop everybody drinking! What will poor Spendi do then? Shocked

Talking about 'spendi', look at the previous page where he asked another daft question! I responded with "Are you and Gus an item or is that just a rumour floating around? Sofar he hasn't replied. I wonder why? Smile

Guilt?

I see he's been going whacko on the I D thread!

Getting back to the youngsters though, the boxing season is at an end now until September, so for this month I'm just keeping fitness levels up with the lads who will be in our squad next season. That means two nights a week and encouraging them to do some running in their own time over the weekends especially. We appear to have a decent group of youngsters especially at this moment in time, good mix also; more Asians doing boxing than ever since Amir Khan made such a brilliant impact.

I am expecting a very busy September to December personally, my co-coaches will then handle them completely whilst I am away in the orient.

Time seems to have no meaning of late, it simply vanishes!

Yes, but why start complaining about it now, once you completed your sentence you should have forgotten about it and eaten cake.
