Well, okay- you're right. But one Englishman said to me "We don't do hugs- that's an American thing" so I guess I just assumed.

He also told me that Brit's spent their gestation in amniotic fluid that was steeped in irony. Do you think that's true?

*Hi Dutchy- good morning to you...thanks for the translation. So Mathos is being a rude prick- huh- okay....that's why we always end up having a barney you little sneaky twit...taking advantage of my innocense- okay I got your number....Mathos

Bollocks Dutchy! That's totally wrong...

A Benny or throwing a Benny was derived from some ancient TV soap years ago, I think it might have been Crossroads, I never watch them, but this guy Benny got on the news etc with the tantrums he threw, and hence the terminology.. I would never be rude to Aidan Dutchy, you should know me better than that.

Anyway she's so bloody thick, she wouldn't know if I was rude or not..Would you darling?

So you think I'm dumb now- okay- and that's not being rude. This is just degenerating into insults so I'll leave you and Dutchy to be civil to each other and ask and answer civilized questions, while I go bathe my wounds.

Are you the kind of person who really believes your own propaganda?

That is not true Mathos, I started it by rudely interrupting with my 'willy thing' Laughing My apologies to you both.

I hope you two will kiss and make up. Will you do that for Dutchy so I will feel better?

Well not really Dutchy, I mean you shouldn't just get out of bed in a grumpy mood and come on here upsetting poor Aidan, by insinuating that I was being disgustingly rude towards her, should you?

You can tell she's a little short in the grey matter and consequently becomes agitated;- She actually called me a rude prick because of your misleading and somewhat totally false interpretation of my terminology!

She then carries on to refer to me as a sneaky little twit!

My feelings are totally devastated and it's all your fault!

You in turn expect us to make up to satisfy your conscience, how profound does it go?

I think you should write out a full apology to Aidan in no less than five words, and a full apology to me in no less than 6790 words with meaning!

Do you consider the punishment fitting for the crime?

Well having read your contribution, and in view of past back up of a superior form never before witnessed on these threads, coupled with my sincere appreciation of past noted events, I will forget you got me in serious trouble with Aidan! I will now do my level best to wipe this silly grin off my face and carry on as normal.

Just as a point of interest, do you think Spendi might be responsible for everything that go's wrong on these pages, and needs a good slating just for the fun of it? Very Happy Very Happy

Presently he is at his best behaviour but let him step out of line once more and he'll cop it with both barrels.

Do you think Aidan will turn up for another serve tonight?

(No mate I wasn't perturbed at all, I know you by now, besides Dutchy gets never flustered. Laughing Laughing )

She could be licking her wounds for a couple of days Dutchy, I know Aiden of old! However when she does return, it will be all flags flying; You can bet on that!

Having said that;- She's the best lass on these threads, her general knowledge for a Yank is good, her sense of humour, great. Poetry, brilliant. Photography professional like. Looks.. She's a pretty little thing.

Have you noticed how I can twirl her around my little finger though?

(PS May be late this evening, big training night at the gym, getting one of the lads ready for a big bout this month--important. Also using one of those protected body bags, whilst he pounds away at my torso, it bloody hurts too, glad I'm wearing that, I think I would have been on my arse a few times by now! Am I getting too old for this..No MATHOS YOU'RE BLOODY WELL NOT!)

No doubt about that, you're the master manipulator twirler, not one of the ladies here stand a ghost of a chance against Maestro Mathos. Smile

What's happening in Portugal, is that little girl still missing, have they got any leads as to what might have happened to her, any suspect(s)? We hardly see any thing in the Media here about the case.

(Take it easy tonight mate, or you'll finish up like Mohammed Ali)

Portugal quiet! Odd bits on the news about what the parents are doing or where they are going. Found some DNA in apartment not applicable to suspect or family etc. but lets face it new people will have been in and out of there all season.

No chance of that Dutchy, I don't let them hit me on the head.

Did you know England are presently beating Estonia by 3 goals to nil.. ?

Wow, all this, even as I apparently labor in the shadow of such an obvious and devastating deficit of "grey matter". Makes me wonder what I could have achieved had I been blessed with a fully functioning brain and at least a modicum of intelligence.

Is that what you think? Mathos- get a clue- I use you for your acronymming ability- that's it- and that's only because no one else ever shows up to play when I do. But as you are equally willing to use me for your own purposes of entertainment, I don't feel bad about that at all.
There's no finger twirling going on here- it's a case of mutual use- as far as I can see.

If you could, which innate personality trait would you increase or enhance in yourself:
intelligence, kindness, diligence, or loyalty?

And in what ways do you think your life might change if you were either smarter, kinder, more hard working or a better friend to people?

Aidan asked

And in what ways do you think your life might change if you were either smarter, kinder, more hard working or a better friend to people?

Smarter:- It couldn't really be improved upon.

Kinder:- I thought I was very kind. I even move ants and slugs to different places to let them live out their lives away from the dangers of a busy gardener.

Harder working:- I'm in my 62nd year now, 61 and five months old!
I work on average fifty eight hours each week. I give some 20 hours a week contributory to a local ABA club. I'm on hand for any of the lads who may need support above and beyond those times. I worked on average seven days a week all of my main working life 12 to 15 hours daily. Half a day off a week or in the later years one day off a week. I made sure I took two to three weeks a year off to take the kids on holiday. From 1962 when I started work to 1996 I never had a day off work for illness, except when I was about 28 and had a small throat operation, and I took a day off in hospital, came out the following morning and put a clutch in a Morris 1000 the same afternoon. What do you think I should do now! Start coal mining or something?

There are friends I have who are very special; that chain of friendship reaches beyond any bounds the average person could ever have entertained in a dozen lifetimes. I don't suffer fools gladly.

Had I lived a more conventional lifestyle or changed now to a more conventional lifestyle, I'd find it extremely boring!

Do you think you could stand the pace I set in life?
