Hasn't the real answer come to you yet, I discovered it about a year ago, it's fascinating?
Aren't you aware a great number of us on here are 'old friends and acquaintances?'

Yes, I do believe so, although I haven't met many people yet, maybe I'm aloof
What did you discover a year ago?

Isn't that an extremely nosey question to ask?

Mathos- as it is not in possession of a nose, a question cannot be nosy. The person asking the question might be nosy, however.
Do you consider yourself to be a nosy person?

Thanks for correcting my spelling Miss!
No, I am not, not in the least, hey, what are you wearing this evening?

Is that a nosy question- or excuse me- a question a nosy person would ask? Isn't there a whole thread devoted to that? And have you noticed, we're not on that thread?
But anyway, right now, I'm wearing a pair of khaki capri pants, an olive green tank top with a blue, white, and olive green striped linen overshirt, ankle socks (one with a hole in the heel) and sneakers. My hair's a mess- and I'm all sweaty, and I have little gnats sticking to at least one part of my skin. (I just came back from a bike ride).
Do you believe that clothes make the man/woman. If not- exactly what level of importance from 1-10 (one being the lowest) do you place on attire?
*I didn't notice the spelling- did I inadverntantly correct something?

Now that is a good question!
Depends on the time, date, venue and purpose!
If you were attending a wedding for instance you wouldn't turn up dressed as you are at present, would you?
I inadvertently put nosey and you eloquently corrected it! Clever clogs!

No, I do enjoy looking nice on occasion- I'd put myself at about a seven.
How about you- you didn't rate yourself. Where would you put yourself on that scale?

If I'm taking a date out for instance, I would be a cool 10, unbeatable.
Going to the gym, designer gear to attend but work out in the cheapest and most basic of tank tops, with strange designs on, sometimes eerie. Gardening I'm a shorts and equally daft tank top which usually comes off as I like working topless in the garden, plus it does the passing female motrorists and pedestrians a lot of good, to see my fantastic physique.
Nowadays I hate wearing suits, collar and tie! I really mean that..hate it! But if the need arises then I have some classy suits!
Do you wear a bra?

You sound a little bit like a dandy- I suspected as much.
As far as the bra goes I was gonna pass on that, but what they heck- who cares- it's only an article of clothing right? Right now I'm not, as a matter of fact, but I usually do. I think we've already discussed the pros and cons of large versus more compact and self-supporting mammary glands, haven't we?
Do you find comfort in large, soft, smothering, mother-like chests?
(I'm asking because I do- my mother's hugs are like no one elses).

I'm not a big bust man to be honest, I prefer the more petite breast on a woman.
My mother used to do those big daft squashy squeezes, I never liked that..
I can be very sensuous, but as a rule, I like to give a quick peck and a pat on the rump, would that offend you?

The peck on the cheek would be entirely appropriate from you, as we've never met and upon introduction that's what I'd expect from an Englishman- they usually take your hand in one hand and lean in and kiss you cheek. But the pat on the rump would not be warmly received from anyone except someone who knew me very, very well.
As a Brit, are you at all comfortable with the more typically American introductory hug or so you prefer to stick to the more "keep a safe distance handhold" with a quick peck on the cheek?

Well I'd give you the firm hand and a peck on the cheek, followed by a good slap on your rump just to get a reaction!
Would you go on a Benny?

No I answered it, you need to read more specifically Aidan, instead of jumping about like a flea on a dogs back and whacking me!
Watch my lips..
Don't care for the American hug thing.
Prefer to peck you on your cheek, and now would definitely pat your rump, and twice at least.
A Benny is when you flip your lid as a reaction to having your rump patted..twice.
Are all Americans slow?

You little peabrain- what a thing to say (but I have to admit most Brits are more well-read).
Why don't Englishmen like hugs?

I'm not talking for Englishmen, I'm talking for me, did I say all Englishmen, Irish, Scots, Welsh, Scandanavians etc.. I said me!
Is it any wonder we always end up having a barney, when you make the most ridiculous statements and issue the most ludicrous questions, which have as much to do with what I said, as;
Freeman Hardy & Willis
Laurel and Hardy
Bush and Blair or H G Welles?
