Yes, after a night on the turps in Shanghai.
Have you ever woken up in a strange bed?
Sounds like a story there, Dutch-! (I'm ba-acK, for one more day!)
Hi, Math-y!
Yes to a bed DIFFERENT from my own, no to the bed of a true stranger!
Have you any phobias?
To many to mention here.
Where about in the US do you reside?
(Would have never ask you the question I asked Mathos

)
It's okay. With a2k though, ya never know who you're gonna get!
I live in the big mitten, Dutch-.
Wher in Australia are you?
Big mitten, no idea where that is?
Adelaide. South Australia.
Do you live near the Ocean?
Oh, sorry.

I live in Michigan. The big mitten right smack in the middle of the Great Lakes. No oceans here. (Darn, but the fresh water is a little easier on the skin to swim in!)
Australia is a place I've always wanted to visit. How long have you been there?
Not in the 9 to 5 sense! I'm an sahm (stay at home mom) with a wedding coordinating business, and I'm a sort of free-lance counselor.
What do you do?
I'm a retired Law-man.
Have you ever been Overseas.
I'm a retired Law-man.
Have you ever been Overseas.
Not the world east of here. I've been all over North & South America, but alas, not across the ocean!
Are you well travelled?
Have made a number of trips overseas, mainly Europe and Asia, sadly not the US.
Do you fly when you travel or go by automobile?
Either or, both. My husband and son are certified train buffs, so we take the train when it's practical. My sister lives in Chicago (about a 3 hr. trip) so we go when we can.
I love to sail, but have never been on a big ship.
Do you sail or cruise?
Yes , my son has a number of boats, and we go fishing and cruising out on the ocean. Pity he lives 500 miles from here and I don't get to see him and his family to often.
Do you engage in winter sports?
I've been known to cross-country ski and the like, but winter sports aren't my favorite as I'm more of a fair weather kind of gal.
Does it get very cold where you are?
Occasionally when I have to go outside in winter.
Do you not find the other passengers on public transport pretty intolerable?
Fairly, but most of all I resent them for giving me colds.
Do you own a car?
No. I'm like the Pope in that regard. I have the use of one when I feel like it.
Don't you think sitting in a car is a trifle undignified?
Not half as undignified as walking in the rain beside cars sploshing through puddles, or slipping on a wet platform as you hurry for a train.
Do you have a driver available whenever you want one too?
I would say yes if "want" is changed to "need".
Don't you think that resisting wants allows a person to concentrate more on his/her needs and that that is healthy?
