Pouilly fumé comes to mind but I prefer Pouilly Fuissé (not the same region).

In total honesty Francis, I was never familiar with wines at all.
It was always beer and spirits. From an ignorant north of England viewpoint wines were associated with Yates, sawdust and wino's!
However, I do enjoy a white wine especially and the Chateau Tracy has in the past been a favourite.
