No... it's very tiny... the floor is a royal blue (ocean), the walls are an orange with yellow drybrushed over, and the appliances are white. It's about 5x6 Smile I wanted it to reflect my impressions of Santorini during the Minoan era...

Do you own the villa you mentioned?

Yes, we are about 40 feet high off the road and the whole length of my house and the entire 40' long deck faces southwest over the ocean. I can hear the waves lapping the shore at night. Spectacular. That's why we bought it. Believe me, the house (hut, shack, lean-to) was just a crappy little hovel which we've had to completely re-do. Mucho dinero... not to mention effort and time.

What have you done to your place?

After building the fence together episode, I do it myself he's not allowed to help.
He had me holding a pole while pouring in concrete, and he couldnt find the level as it was on top of the pole I was holding, I moved it and the level fell on his head thats when I started laughing, then he smacked his thumb with the hammer so hard his thumb just popped...then I couldnt find any band aid's and had to drive off to buy some, leaving him swearing with his hand in a towel....and Im still laughing....my advice never laugh when a man injures himself! Laughing

how do you get on?

LOL

We get on fine unless he has a stupid idea, of which he has plenty, and then there's a power struggle - me trying to maintain the classy look of the place, him trying to add his 2 cents worth and piece of individuality Smile

For example, he went nuts with dimmer switches, switches on timers, motion-activated switches... all in our bedroom! LOL. Open a closet door - voila, there's a light. Come into the room, voila - there's a light. Move an arm in the middle of the night - voila - there's a light! LOL You see what I mean! He has since changed those motion-activated ones - ha ha ha He also seems unable to get two pieces of baseboard to match up Smile

But he's a dear and I wouldn't trade him Smile I take it you feel the same Smile???

Oh yes... at least until retirement. I don't want to live in a big, crowded city when I start to slow down and get all confused Smile And by then, hopefully it WILL be worth a cool Million.

What about you? Staying put? Moving up? Selling out?

Mame, reading the last few pages I get a mental picture of your place as being like Clint Eastwood's in Play Misty For Me.

Is it?
