The good thing about knowing someone there is you avoid bad food, get to places without line ups, they know other things that tourists will never know... I like exploring, too, but I hate line ups and bad food.

I'm sure you never had any bad food in Vancouver , did you?

I never did, I only went to get drunk, slept at the Sandman Inn.


You like food dont you? You talk about it a lot.

I have a gourmand's appreciation of food and drink... yes, I like delicious, tasty, different foods... I am like this with art and design, too... but most other things I am unconcerned about, like music. I am so uninformed and uninterested in music, other than it sounds pleasing to me ear, that it is laughingly embarrassing. Or embarrassing laughable. But I don't care

What is it about music that has you hooked? The types, the artistry? What, exactly?

I love the emotion, Its the way music can make me feel. Whether I am listening singing or at in an elevator, it brings some comfort with it.


Why dont you like it?

Oh, I like it, I just don't know much about it. I admire people who know things I don't, like why that passage is so important, or what instrument is playing what, why the bass is doing what it's doing... I like to learn or be told things...

I know literally nothing ABOUT music... but I do like most of it... I like blues the best, and rock, and some pop... no, I do like it... and how it makes me feel. One of my fave bands is Queen - probably my fave of all time.... I always loved Freddie Mercury. Too sad about him.

Who are your faves?

I love it all but if I had to pick I would say Journey, Heart, Fleetwood Mac, Billy Joel...Its so hard to pick. Everytime I hear a song I say " Oh my god, This is one of my all time favorite songs...EVER" I say that for every song I hear....


Do you have anything that makes you crazy like that?

Well, first of all, love all those you mentioned, and I think I know the words to Billy Joel's first two albums

I like Dire Straits "Money for Nothing", Queen "I Wanna Break Free", Englebert's "Please Release Me", and Roberta Flack's, "Killing Me Softly"... "Desperado" by Eagles... and there are many, many more....

Did you like Deep Purple, the Grateful Dead, Alice Cooper, etc?

I liked the Dead I had my phase of Alice, no deep purple but I would now listen to these guys still. I love the Eagles and Dire Straits. I dont care for Killing me softly but I like Roberta. I love Anita Baker and Sam Cooke.

Well, what haven't we done is more to the point... but this is not interesting to someone who isn't doing the same, dont you think? Sort of like baby-talk to someone with no kids, eh?

I don't think it is fair to say that only about people with no kids.
