Would I?

Is innocence good, or is it just another word for ignorance?

Well, I'm not sure that i've heard of "wilful innocence".

Is ignorance necessarily bad?

It might lead you into trouble; I certainly don't think it's bliss, in fact I think I believe that knowledge is a higher good than ignorance, and so I'm in favour of Eve and the serpent.

Are you religious?

No, I prefer to leave that to the funny men who pontificate to the masses and tell people to become human bombs and others their sins are forgiven.

Have you any idea what the total monetary value of all the worlds religions is?

No, and in all honesty I can't say that I really care...if I did I am sure I'd be able to get a fairly good estimate which would make me shake my head in shock and disbelief.

Have you ever wondered what would have happened if you had taken a different path in life?

Often. Difficult to say whether it would be better or worse, or whether in the end it is one's character that determines all.

What different path might you have taken?

There is little if any sense, merit or justification in looking back and wishing. We are what we are and what we have become.

However, do you think it too late to mend your retrogressive ways?

My belief is, and always has been, that up until the moment of death there is always a chance to change.

What is it that holds you back from making changes?

Depends on the changes Sturgis, I feel a decent level of contentment with my present position.

Why are you so eager to wish you could change matters?

There is so much that needs improving.

What room is there for complacency?

Exactly; you can stay where you are, with the people you are with, but still improve things, can't you? It must be odd to be perfect....

It's meaningless to speculate - celebrities are such easy targets - if one doesn't like them, one will condemn them no matter what they say.

Are you ever amazed that some people can go through life being so obtuse?

I enjoy the variations people offer in life. Even the tramps can be interesting.
Seems to me that you want never ending rows of identical petunias, that could be obtuse Lezz!

Do you consider yourself superior to those you class as obtuse?

Indeed I do!

I do not know what tramps have to do with being obtuse, (I think there may be a lot of brilliant poets and philosophers among the homeless - as well as thieves and villains) nor do I seek rows of identical petunias.

Wouldn't it be totally boring if we did all think alike?

We would never have evolved, I don't suppose. We'd continue to live at the tidal edge, moving millimetres at a time, eating plankton.

Interesting intelligence. I do not mean the biggest brain around, but how the brain is exercised.

Have you ever eaten plankton?

Not knowingly, but it's so small, we probably eat it every time we swallow seawater.

Do you live near the sea?
