I suppose that would have to be a yes, but in defense, it jumped $1 in just a few days.

Has it always been that expensive there? I'm wondering if has anything to do with where your oil refineries are?

Well no-not exactly. Transportation is so cheap refineries can be almost anywhere. It's mainly tax. It pays for our health benefits. Also, with your long distances you probably couldn't afford $7. I have read that the petrol is a bi-product. But it is quite complicated actually. Not a subject for amateurs.

How many leisure miles do you motor in an average week?

Firstly, I'm told that one of the main reasons that gas prices have risen sharply is because of the damage to the off-shore refineries from hurricane Katrina. That's why I asked about your oil refineries there.

I don't really know how many leisure miles I travel, but I can tell you that I'm watchig more conscious about consolidating trips and eliminating wasted ones.

Have gas prices risen where you are or pretty much stayed the same? Are you watching your gas expenditures?

No.I don't have any gas expenditures worth worrying about.I never go anywhere.I like it where I am.I think people who pay out to go places must not like where they are.I can understand that.If I didn't like where I am I would go places too.But it's ace here. There's no work, there's soft warm beds, there's pots of ale and there's voluptuous women.I put it down to the government.

Could it be anything else?

I know you like to stay put, and I'm sure there is great! I think you just don't have the travelling bug; people who want to see other places, meet other people, etc. Nothing wrong with either way.

How do you get your news - newspaper? computer? tv?...

It just arrives.Anything that doesn't arrive must be fairly unimportant. What is in media is news only in a limited sense.A large number of events shown might be important to those involved but in the general picture are insignificant.Stock markets and commodity values are real news as is the appearence of tattoos on ladies and piercings.

I know somebody with a travel bug travels if they can afford it.Why do they have a travel bug is the important question. It can only be lack of interest in their usual surroundings. The reasons for that are variable.

Have you got a travel bug?

Laughing Francis, did you ask it before it flew off?!

Spendi-, I suppose you could say I have a travel bug, and am one of the unfortunates who can't afford it, but I disagree about not liking my surroundings. I love it here, change in seasons, all the green, the people... I think those who love to travel, at least speaking for those like myself, are just curious about other people, places and things. You are one of the few persons (or maybe the only one!) with no wander lust whatsoever!

Would you say you are knowledgeable about other places, or do you just not care about anywhere but where you are?

Yeah-I've been to enough places to satisfy me that there's nothing in any of them to compare with being absorbed with things familiar.Visiting places is a very superficial view of them. And there's plenty of other reasons which I won't go into. And my view is way in the majority.

Don't you find that looking forward to things makes time go fast?

I suppose so. It just seems that time passes so quickly now! My kids are growing and it was just 90 degrees a couple of days ago. Today it's struggling to reach 70! Fall's almost here officially...

Do you prefer wintertime or summertime? Why?

They both have their own particular merits, I don't have to explain, just think about it.

If I had a preference I would move to a climate which I preferred, a lot of people do.

I enjoy a brisk walk on a cold night especially, but I also enjoy sun bathing.

It must be genetic, we accept what we get as a rule. Christmas would never seem right for instance if spent on a hot south sea Island. Wouldn't fancy a bbQ in the snow either.

Would you?

Nothing like repeating yourself, eh Mathos?!

I like different climates, and wouldn't mind being somewhere else in winter (I've lived in Arizona for a couple of Christmases), but my family and friends are here. That's what makes it home for me. So you'll be staying put?

Not much of a traveller are you?

Actually I travel a great deal Dev's.

I enjoy travel, it is good for mental and corporal faculties. Plus the variation in the female sex is an entertainment to me.

Do you like a variety in your life Dev's?

I suppose there's a very faint chance that's true.

In the meantime you don't mind if I have a quiet titter to myself?

All right, boys. I thought you might say something like that, Mathos.

Is everything about sex with you? What (if you have any besides travel) are they?
