No.

Can you not rise to the occasion?

To what occasion might you be referring? Has this thread died or is it revivable?

Despite all, let's try to revive it. Were you on holidays?

I haven't been on holidays in a few years. Time off from work but no actual vacationing anywhere.

(and now since I am not too sure how this whole thing goes...reading the past posts is confusing me, all 370+pages of them, is there a theme or just any question?)

Oh a question: Have you ever backpacked across a country?

Nothing to be confused. Just answer the previous question and ask your own question.

I never backpacked but I travelled a lot.

Which country would you like to visit?

Outer Mongolia. (I really just want to hang out in a yurt and maybe eat braised yak.)

Are you a solo tourist or do you go with groups and a guide?

Unless you are Ian Wright, never go to Mongolia alone. Not that the people are not friendly but living with them in a yurt is quite difficult.

Most of the time, I'm solo. Never been with groups or a guide.

Aren't you tempetd by more sunny and "civilised" countries?

No, I tend to prefer places that are more rustic and challenging (maybe it's a latent death wish).

Have you traveled to Siberia ?

Not yet but...

There still are many restricted areas there...

Have you considered trekking in the Caucasus?

Can't say that I have. Unfortunately, these days I'm more of a vicarious traveller as I can't afford it, but some day hope to go world-wide!

What has been your favorite trip?

BTW, Francis, I haven't been on holiday, just extremely busy with work and getting the kids back to school, etc.

No, and in my case it's probably for the best (I am subject to extreme moodiness); however, I am a schoolteacher. No, silly I do not teach schools I teach the students...Botany, Physics, Chemistry and Earth Sciences.

Are you truly content in your life at this time?

Good question! Let's just say I've learned to be content with whatever situation in life I'm in. My life's not perfect, but I'm dealing with it and doing what I can.

What would you do if you could do anyting you wanted?

Yes, as it is a concept. As for some immaterial enclosure you can visualise it on your mind.

Now you can, with the help of some potent magnets, form a magnetic field in which you can pour your water. Adjusting the form of your magnetic field you can control the form of the water contained in it.

Have you some knowledge of magnetic fields?
