Hm, sometimes I do, but I never seem to retain my
dreams for long, except the ugly ones, luckily I seldomly get though.

If you were referring to day dreams - oh yes, I do!

As a child, my dreams were more vivid. Weren't yours?

Yes dreams and the imagination in general seem to be more vivid as a young person.

Have you ever woken up and thought wow! what a great dream, really interesting....in all that detail

then after a moment or two you really struggle to hold on to the slightest bit of it. You want to remember it but it just evaporates even as you think about it?

Yes I have Steve, and I should have written it down, right
then and there.
But, on rare ocassion I remember a dream for years.

Do you have recurring dreams?

I used to have one but I hardly ever dream now or at least I'm not conscious of doing so.The trick-cyclists reckon we always dream but only are conscious of a bit of it.Maybe I have lurid dreams that I'm not aware of.I often wake up as if that was the case.

My favourite dream Lola promised to explain but she never did and now I don't know what's become of her.I was sat in an audience in a theatre near the front and a little black imp was performing and a big cat stalked onto the stage and just gobbled the imp up.I woke up saying -that's the last of my ego.I hadn't been reading Jung at the time.

Now I think I had two recurring dreams-in one I could walk with giant strides and jump great heights and in the other I was in a car on a steep slope to a cliff edge going backwards and pressing the brake with all my might with no effect.

There's another good story about dreaming I could tell but I'm not sure this is a suitable place to relate it.

Dylan claims to have disciplined himself to write stuff down as soon as he woke up.

What recurs in your dreams?

Good question! My recurring dream is about flying. I know it means something, but I forget. I think Clary does dream interpretation. Ask her?

Who else wants to tell of dreams, recurring or otherwise?

That was a naughty question Francis..Wink

spendius, I am not sure about dream interpretation,
and not knowing the person and his/her circumstances,
makes it much harder to comment on someone elses
dream. So I guess, you have to wait for Lola to
interpret your dreams.

Yes, I do have one recurring dreams, and I haven't found
out yet, why.

Usually, one can interpret his/her own dreams quite
well, don't you think?

I think that if one contemplates it, a dream can be interpretted. Sometimes a little education helps.

No, we're still with the dreams. Mine? Hm, I have a recurring
one where I live in an old house of mine. That particular house I didn't like and actually I only lived there for one year. Why on earth it's hunting me in my dreams I don't
know, my remote control gets stuck Wink

I looked up devriesj website aboute dreams, and I think
I got the gist of it.

As a child I used to have nightmares from the stories my grandmother told. Even my mother got goosebumps on
ocassion from it.

Were you close to your grandparents?

No.Never knew them.I don't rate family. My mother was a sodding nuisance. The old man was okay.He left me alone most of the time.I was their bloody pride and joy.I grew up in woods and fields and by rivers and streams and stuff.I helped all the old coves who worked on the estate and they told me a lot of things.I had twenty dads and about fifty thousand doting mothers.I was always getting cuddled and sometimes by complete strangers.I had my own ferrets.

Have you ever had a ferret?

*Forget dreams.I didn't say my ego had departed.I said that that was what I said when I woke up.There's a difference.

A ferret? That's a rodent, yikes. Of course, I didn't
have one, and never intend to either. I'm pretty much
settled on dogs only.

Did I ever say, your ego had departed?

I never said you did.I just thought my previous post might have left the wrong impression.

The ego, whatever it might be,does depart in men but rarely I agree. It does take quite an effort to keep it down.On the whole that's a good thing I feel but it can be done in short bursts.

Ferrets are gorgeouseie creatures. They have sharp teeth though and are very wick. They are probably from the same evolution chains as the average dog.
Dogs are alright but why do they have to annoy you so much.Cats don't do that.We annoy them.

Have you never had a tom cat kitten?

No, I never had a cat, and I don't think I will get one either,
despite my daughter begging me to buy a cute little kitty.
Dogs don't annoy me, on the contrary, I like their loyalty
and let's face it: no one ever greets you like a dog.

Did you keep the ferret in the house?

No, I have never kept a ferret in the house; in Hong Kong we kept all our pets out of doors, dogs, cats, budgerigars...

Occasionally but if my mum had of found out I would have had to put up with even more indignation than I was used to.

The gamekeeper had four ferrets.A bloke brought two in the pub one night. He had them in his pockets. Some of the time at least. To begin with.It was quite funny really. Some of the women got a chance to do their "I don't like mice" dance.

We decided, after a discussion tonight, that you were right about ferrets being a rodent.Of a lower class than dogs.Dogs are much easier to train and are thus superior.

Do you prefer well trained animals or wild ones?

I am afraid not Clary, I am not a good cook, so any
recipe from me would come straight from google Wink

spendius, I prefer well trained animals in my vicinity, although I have to live with coyotes and the likes around me, but luckily they're people shy.

What spendius, you discussed the ferret issue in your pub
again? Does the pub know about the virtual world you
correspond with?
