I do without out.Billions have men have done without it before it was invented. It seems to be just one of the many things women can use to have a cheap swipe at men with like "dangly bits".

Not that I'm objecting of course.I'm simply saying that though it may affect some men in the way it is intended all it does for me is inform me of certain things about whoever uses it.

Yesterday I had a good reason,to do with diet,to refer to a certain well known biological happening which takes place in ladies' bodies at around 45 years of age.I did that so discreetly,a compliment to my readers by the way, that CJ jumped to the conclusion that I am over 45.And presumably missed the dietary point in the process.

For testosterone, assuming this white crystalline presence to be real, one might have referred to a winning rugby team after their cold shower but that takes more literary effort. To jibe at me you have to have style."Oh-it's just his testosterone" won't do at all.Apart from draw a bit of flak.

We are still allowed to defend ourselves aren't we?

Of course - but why are you feeling so defensive? Ollady asked a question about men in general - my question about testosterone was not directed at you specifically. It is just something that makes men different from women - thank God. I was serious - what would we do if we were all estrogen fueled? I don't think it would be nearly as interesting.

Do you?

I'm a scientist aid.Sure-I'd try it.As it is I can only imagine it and it looks pretty dire in some respects and pretty good in others.I focus on what looks pretty good on the grounds that we will be going in that direction if we are getting better which I think we are.We are always in transition and maybe it will "soon shake your windows and rattle your walls" but it is our future and,as Flaubert taught,it is made in the dark regions behind the sun. What I think is pretty good is discernable in all my posts to a reader with no preconceptions.

I would give that a go for sure if I could swap back when I felt like it but not otherwise.

We are what we are white crystalline powder included don't you think?Have women any of that?

Women have a bit of testosterone, just as men have a smattering of estrogen--- oh, but hail the difference.

Do we really need to defend ourselves, as though we are under attack?

I don't feel attacked and I hope Spendius doesn't either. I'm happy that we are what we are, as you say. I like being a woman, and I'm hoping most men enjoy being men.

Do you think that is the case?

Yes I do, never met but one or two who wanted to change, (and did).

Is is just me, or are we all smiling?

Well if the ones I see are enjoying it they are doing a fine job of hiding it.

I like the story you have going.I am following you know.Where did the young man spring from and shouldn't he be slightly more mature. When I was young I don't remember anything like that happening to me.

You like creative writing don't you?

I don't know if you are addressing anyone in particular, but I love creative writing.

No.We should only try to change what we don't like a lot.

We didn't like plagues so we changed it.We never thought they would end up not liking the colour of the milk bottle tops.

Isn't that just silly?

Yes, it is.

However, color makes a big difference in many ways and situations, true?

It's wonderful; women are better at distinguishing the subtleties of hues, did you know that? Comes of being gatherers and not hunters - judging ripe berries.

Do you like ripe berries?

It's funny you should say that Clary.I was about half way through a big, fat, sweet, sloppy peach when I happed on ripe berries.I had to dry my hands and chin to type this.

Is peach juice sticky when it dries.

Out of all the people I know there must be some who don't like fruit.I don't know which ones they are off hand because I don't think I'd notice in the first place. It's okay.Healthy nutrient.

What more can one ask?
